Martin Kayes, CISSP

Martin founded Cobalt ICT in 2005 and is a very experienced cyber security consultant who has turned his hand to investigating more than just cyber crime; working alongside former police detective, turned investigative journalist, Mark Williams-Thomas, they investigate a wide range of cases including fraud, romance scams, missing persons, child protection, murder, miscarriages of justice and high-profile cold-cases.

As a trained GDPR consultant, Martin can advise your business on dealing with Data Breaches and Subject Access Requests as well as bringing your business in to compliancy with data protection regulations. Martin is also a trained Cyber Essentials Assessor and can assist your business with their Cyber Essentials application.

The private investigation side of Martin’s work is very demanding and many of the cases he works on are made in to television programmes of feature in the national press. He can be seen above, along with Mark, appearing on the Paramount+ documentary series, Madeleine McCann: The case against Christian B. And in the second photo, Martin is being interviewed for the TV series Love Rats, discussing an investigation he carried out in to a complex cryptocurrency romance scam.
